We develop gene and cell therapies for blindness.

The retina, a thin tissue that lines the back of the eye, contains millions of specialized cells called rod and cone photoreceptors. These cells convert light into electrical signals that result in vision. Loss of these cells causes permanent blindness, and there are currently no treatments to reverse photoreceptor cell death.

We hope to change that.
